We have booked the New Year’s dinner at Meier well in advance.
Unfortunately, the personnel gave us the table not in the restaurant but in the room which I assume is used for the office/conference room with the office chairs.
This didn’t give us any festive feeling. As well we had to share the big table with another group of guests.
The food was good, however the ambience ruined it all.
Rather decline some reservations than downgrade the guest experience.
The restaurant cultivates a warm atmosphere and the grounds boast plenty of natural beauty.
The kitchen did a great job of elevating typical German dishes to an international standard.

Hands down best restaurant in the area. Great Bavarian food but also international kitchen. Kaiserschmarrn is the best I've had. Friendly staff, good atmosphere with outdoor and indoor dining tables. Must visit of you're in the area.

Best schnitzel in Germany!
Meier is the perfect get away for our family on the weekend. Out of the city in a beautifully landscaped restaurant that cares for both the producers where they receive their produce from and the customer that is catered for in the most caring way by their staff and the owner himself (or his father!!!). If you care for high quality, local products and an excellent service/surrounding Meier is your place to go!
